Baja Vibes for the Coolest Big Boy Room

This mural might be one of my favorites — the perfect mix of playful and laid-back cool. The vision was to create a “big boy room” that felt warm, adventurous, and a little bit magical.

The wall is washed in sun-soaked Baja colors — soft desert oranges, sandy beige, and dusty blue — layered into flowing hills and warm sunset tones. And then there are the stars of the show: the cactuses. Tall, simple, and perfectly imperfect, they bring the desert to life and make the whole scene feel like you’re standing somewhere sunny with your toes in the sand.

It’s a design that feels fun for a kid but still has a timeless vibe he can grow into. (And honestly… I kind of want this wall in my own room.)
